NOTE: this title referd to a comment, when bond thought somebody died but met him, so said, "you live to die another day." it was more popular than world 1999 and most successful of bond films until then.
story SUMMARY: in North Korea, James Bond 007, a british secret agent, raided from sea. bond and his team, two South Koreans, surfed to the coast and commandeered a helicopter for the mission. bond hid explosives in a briefcase with diamonds, for his mission to kill Colonel Moon, of North Korean army, to stop him selling weapons for evil conflict diamonds. bond replaced a weapon seller, who was using evil conflict diamonds to buy weapons.
bond flew to a military base n met Moon and his assistant, Zao. bond gave diamonds. Zao told moon bond's true identity. Moon shot a rifle-tank-weapon... destroying the helicopter.
Moon orderd "kill Bond" and fled from his pa the general, in a large hovercraft. when the troops lined up to kill bond, Bond detonated the C4, killing the firing squad. ten diamonds got blasted into Zao's skull. Bond now commandeered a hovercraft for chasing Moon, both floating over a minefield. After an exciting chase, and a duel on Moon's hovercraft, it fell from a waterfall to moon's death.
Bond [wrong not "nearly escaped in hovercraft" as fans and critics wrote] got captured by North Korean troops and... tortured. they [wrong, not "injected scorpion venom into his blood" as fans wrote] beat him and put a live scorpion to "sting" him followed by the antidote [so bond will die another day not from the scorpion but see quote] many beatings during the theme song, for fourteen months. spy is a dangerous employment.
Fourteen months later, bond got released in a prisoner exchange for Zao, who had recently been captured by the British. M informd b that zao attackd a Chinese/South Korean summit. she suspended bond's 00 status, despite the possibility of a double agent within MI6.
later, Bond zapd the medical staff n went to a Hong Kong hotel. [wrong not "beginning a tryst with a masseuse" as fans wrote] bond searched the massage-lady n found her gun. Bond found people filming him. Chang arranged Bond's passport. Bond flew to Cuba, where he learnt that Zao was in an experimental gene therapy clinic. they "kill bone marrow" and replace it with genes from other people to cause the body to look like them. b met and "bedded" agent Jinx.
in the clinic, Bond woke Zao who fought. Bond stole Zao's pendant. Zao escaped in a helicopter before agent jinx blew up the clinic. Bond opend the pendant and found diamonds.
in London, Bond n Graves dueld aggressivly using swords. they injured each other, and broke stuff. Bond cut g' stomach so won. later, Bond met with new younger Q n got a watch, a glass-shattering ring and a car with auto-targeting guns. it has invisibility tech.
in Iceland, Bond came to the ice palace. Later, Graves showed his "orbital mirror satellite" which can focus sunlight for year-round crops.
part TWO the plot its success and its defeat
At night, Jinx spied in the ice hq, but got captured. Bond discovered that graves is moon after gene process n that Frost is a double agent who betrayed bond to n.k. Bond commandeerd a jet sled so g used the sun weapon to zap at bond who sled fast enuf. b returned n used his invisible ca until a gaurd bumped it. Zao, the helper who now looked like moon, chased b' by car. both cars shot their vehicles' weapons. b drove into the ice palace. the heat beam was melting it into water. Bond shot a huge crystal chandelier that dropped n crushed Zao. b rescued Jinx from drowning.
Bond and Jinx used parachute-surfboard to coast. They follow Graves into a jet where he reveald the plot by successfully detonated mines for a path through the minefield in the Korean Demilitarized Zone. if u.s. shot nukes it would destroy the missiles. Graves wore tech-armor that operated the satellite. General Moon aimed a gun at graves=moon jr,. who was a war-hungry guy, so shot pa.
a thug attackd Bond whose shot broke a jet-window, so Jinx stabilized the plane. frost attacked her using a sword. Jinx "changed something" n fought until killing frost. Graves hit Bond and used his tech suit to electrocute bond. g dond a parachute. Bond pulld the parachute cord so it opend. Graves got pulled out of the jet... so gripd the edge. Bond activated the tec-suit's electric defense, zapping the villain, who lost his grip so sucked into an engine. this killed graves/moon and destroyed the controller so the ray stopd.
Bond and Jinx fly in copter from the plane. after landing, They poured diamonds
