the month song

note: this rhyme is inspired by a classic simon and garfunkel song with "april thrill and july fly" etc. the song begins with march as explained in the previous post: counting back 8 from october.
march was named for the god of war mars also the red planet named for that god and the name was adjusted to march and similar names in other countries.

a giant bridge with a wide arch
on the warm spring days in April
i slide in water! such a thrill!

prepare for vacation in May
give employers your resume`
during the short hot nights  of June
lay on your back and watch the moon.

summer vacation in July
i love this most, that is no lie!
summer months including August -
are hot! August feels the hottest

return to school in September
learn more than what we remember
