FRANK'S DESTINY; a fictional historical novel 

intro: this story was inspired by the idea "when you refused my second date i felt like the end of the world. turned out i was right" the following story is similar but different than that part of the series orville.

chapter one; the reversal.

the end.

the next day, the victory which had already transpired had not occurred. on the fateful date in 1947, when a "weather balloon" fell in the southwest of u.s. frank had not been captain. he was not at the right place at the right time. how had this happened?

in the year 1945 visitors came from auxlin star. it is near the star sirius and humans mispronounced its name xylanthia. they obeyed their agreement with u.s. president roosvelt=p.r. because the humans had made the bomb wrong. it would not scare the japanese. 

representative plosy appeared in a human form in the oval office of u.s. and warned p.r. that he saw the human scientists were building the bomb wrong. plosy explained, "after seeing you spared the japanese ship crews from sinking, when you could have used your planes and submarines differently, even at the time that nazis were sinking your ship crews you deserve the victory. we will help you prevent the invasion of the japanese home isles and of occupied manchuria. you will not need to send any nor many soldiers into danger." 

"thank you go fix it." plosy vanished and using auxlin technology reappeared in the secret lab of the nuclear bomb. the message had arrived from p.r. that the xylan would help fix the bomb and drop it. plosy pointed out that two scientists one brit and one american had messed it up. "they did not obey the plans we provided" the brit argued "we cant just burn a whole city" so plosy pointed out that even a child can pull a trigger of a pistol and kill a soldier. 

plosy explained "you dont value your allies lives." the brit argued more so the auxlin temperarliy abducted him to prevent his interference that would increase the lost lives of the allies.

the date was august 5, 1945 and the bomb had been built wrong. it would fail. plosy hastily made a quick fix and moved the bomb to the airfield near the japanese home isles. p.r. ordered only one bomber will fly in so the japanese would not bother to send fighter planes to intecept. plosy escorted it in his space vehicle using radar jamming. any japanese plane that came in a ten mile radius of the u.s. bomber got vaporized by plosy using auxlin tech for his plan to end the war swiftly. 

the u.s. bomber flew the fixed nuclear bomb toward hiroshima. 

TWO the atom bomb

plosy connected to the bombardier's earphones and asked how he felt about killing a city. "i was chosen because the japanese killed my close friends--so you want revenge. that is not proper intention.--what were your intentions why do you think it is proper?--because the emperor declared all citizens as soldiers so all japanese all truly soldiers that is why."

bombardier argued "dont pretend to be so holy, we both know the factory workers are unarmed and the kids are only soldiers in named" plosy explained that the factory workers were not unarmed despite no weapon in hand because they were making the war supplies that is armements and he reminded that even a child can pull the trigger of a pistol and could kill an invading soldier. plosy concluded that he was not only concerned about the u.s. soldiers but he had opposed the error for u.s. to send its troops into france but had not interfered but now he must interfere considering the alternative he provided to fix the bomb this would save the invaders lives and prevent the necessary evil of entering another country without permission.

after plosy taught the bombardier the correct intention to prevent these necessary evils and loss of life b dropped the first bomb on the industrial area of hiroshima. the bomb worked as the humans had planned vaporizing in a moment a vast area. fires burned all around even very far from the bomb.

plosy had destroyed any warplane that had flown toward the gay bomber. from the human prespective the japs had not even bothered to stop one lone plane.

b said into his headet that the bomb would not end the war because the emperor did not care about the body life of japanese. the war would continue... it did.

p.r. waited for the surrender but it never came. the date 6 and seventh passed with no surrender. the japanese radio said other stuff but not any order to generals to stop shooting.

plosy insisted one is not enuf you guys need to drop a second bomb.

however the humans had not built a second one. so plosy swiftly made one from plutonium and gave it to a plane. claiming humans had built it and he was simply delivering it quicker to end the shooting because both sides were continuing to kill each other on the dates 6,7 and would not stop until surrender.

this time plosy bothered to clone the japanese emperor hirohito. he moved the real one to the city that the u.s chose to bomb and controlled the clone in his vehicle waiting for the time he could foll the humans.

the overly moral bomber crew refused to drop the bomb during clouds when they could not aim at weapons factories for warships etc. we may drop it on the wrong part of the city due to clouds and th ebomb is intended for war industry.

so they flew to nagasaki instead..

this ruined plosy' plan! plosy's plan had been to put the emperor in the wrong place at the right time! luckily for the u.s. soldiers xylanthian tech could move the emperor easily so plosy moved the emperor to nagasaki. when the bimb fell it vaporized the human emperor. now plosy sent the clone that he controlled into the palace. he ordered the surrender howver many of the japanese pilots even nearby and certainly far preferd war. plosy flew to soviets and ordered them to violate the treaty with japan.

stalin argued "if we break our treaty nobody will honor treaties with OURSELVES and we will get harmed--then i will drop a plutonium bomb on moscow with you stalin tied to it." stalin agreed to violate the treaty and started invading manchuria. fearing the lossof the industry there the japanese generals obeyed the clone emperors orders. even before manchria was taken by russians the war ended. the soldiers were not sent into risk on the japanese home isles and the u.s. had not invaded without permission.

instead the u.s occupied japan with permission of the surrender and allowed the japanese government self authority over MOST government mangement decisions except the military. this was justified by the previous use of the military and still the government only submitted to the u.s. occupoers for that issue but granted autonomy for other issues, not under u.s. government for most government manaement topics.

chapter 3; captain frank

plosy returned to auxlin where a civil war had begun. meanwhile on earth FRANK met destiny. both his destiny and the lady named destiny. that was the name her parents had chosen. 

frank attended a victory party over japan. he watched the pretty women in the arm but felt too shy to tallk to any of them so he stayed near a man who did not want to talk with him he wanted to talk with a lady so frank was alone drinking his alcohol.

the alcohol dulled his inhibitions so he walked toward destiny and said "do you need a hospital?" this surprised destiny who spun toward him responding wadya maean? he explained "when you fell from heaven".

her mind said that is so lame but the alcohol in her brain freed her true wants that she subdued due to society.

"we should dance" she insisted. he argued he did not know how and felt like it would turn her off and he moved awkwardly last time he had danced" however destiny wanted to dance so she offered a compromise. "we will go to the empty room and slowly dance" that was a good compromise. frank put his hands on destiny's shouders and she put her hands on his waist and they swayed slowly to the now less blaring music dimmed by the wooden door.

as more alcohol moved from her tubes into her blood she forgot her societal inhibitions and moved her hands around franks stomach she knew what this would cause and soon she saw the consequence. she whispered "i see you are ready and so am i" so they acted like a married couple and did nwhat i dont want kids to do so i wont describe.

they needed several attempts to attain the relevant pleasures but over those two hours they acheived their goals of pleasure and enjoyment and soon slept.

near dawn the host entered his bedroom and found frank with destiny in his bed. he woke them and said go home. frank ran to the door and called behind himself "you phone me" destiny apologized for sleeping in the bed and asked the host henry for franks number. he went to the invitation book and wrote a copy of franks number.

she stuffed the paper in her bra and climbed out the window of the ground level room. she ran home to her pa, admiral debson. he was awake early as usual reading the newspaper. 

d entered her home and went to the sitting room where pa sat. hi pa i had fun at the party--not now, you know i like reading early in the morning when its quiet--then i will keep it brief. i want you to meet a very responsible naval officer named frank.

she gave pa the paper and went to sleep. she slept all day. 

frank also slept all day. at dinnertime destiny awoke and went to the dining room. the butlers were serving the supper that they had cooked. pa had returned from the military base.

destiny started "wolfing and scarfing" her food. pa asked tell me about frank. d froze unsure if she had revealed that they had been intimate. she vaguely remembered that pa had wanted to read so she did her plan. "frank is executive officer on a small warship he told me about his job when we were at the party. i feel like he could handle bigger responsibility." the admiral looked at daughter destiny debson. "you were impressed by him?" asked the admiral. "very much by his stories of leadership" she lied hoping that frank would get a bigger salary and she would marry frank,

pa explained that on her recommendation he had read his files and had doubts some of his stuff warranted promotion but he worriied other examples showed a larger responsibility would be a risk. d urged her pa that she got to know him and he would be a wonderful responsible leader. pa agreed he dialed the number for frank and called him for an interview about maybe promoting him.

frank awoke and had forgotten the drunken party. the phone ringing woke him again and he heard the news of promotion that made him feel excited who could he include in his joy? that was when he remembered destiny but he did not know her phone number.

he hurried to the host henry and asked for destiny's phone number. henry lied i dont have her number but you can call the admiral her pa. frank knew better and said "you invited her so you must have her number besides the admiral's office at the base" henry confessed that he had given franks number to d and if she had decided not to call him then  he should not scare her. as frank turned to leave he recalled the enjoyment and wanted more. he offered henry a deal. if you help me with destiny i will introduce you some women i know to make your dating easier.

henry agreed and copied d's home number from the invitation phone book. henry added "use my phone". frank called the debson home and d answered the phone. "hi d, do you need a hospital?-- d was surprised by the recycling of words but the pleasure of dancing and more overpowered her disgust at the lame words. "you are better for me than any hospital--wonderful, lets dance again" and the conversation flowed from topic to topic and they talked about family and feelings and plans and even arranged a second date....

the relationship blossomed and as soon as admiral dennis debson officialy appointed frank as captain frank of a large, but old submarine, frank proposed marrying d. d was delighted at the triple combination a man who she enjoyed dancing with, a large captain salary for her future plans of family and home and most importantly that he wanted her.

relying on the capatin salary they immediately made two mortgage loans on two homes a winter home in hawaii where his submarine had been based for many years and a summer home in northern maine state.

uneventful years passed as captain frank performed pacific patrol. in the summer he would take three months vacation in the statisticly hottest months. he went with his pregnant wife d to maine home. the northern area was less heat. while in maine she birthed their son. they had eached written a list of the five names that they wanted most. sadly none of her five matched his five. frank suggested "we can attach the d of your name to f of mine and name him fred" d argued that she liked her names better and had even offered several in case he did not like any. frank explained i will cancel mine if you accept a name with both our letters in her name. d argued why is the f first if you were fair you would have a name with both orders. so frank suggested freddrif, like freddeerick so her two ds would be both before and after his f. she stull argued frederif has onlu one d so why should he have two f's frank exploded i said DOUBLE D in loud frustration. d starting crying i was worried you thought my bra was too small. "you trapped me!" frank burted in horror. she smiled and stopped her pretend tears "i did".

finally freddrif was born. they flew back across the country and to the hawaii naval base. destiny stayed in the home they ad bought outside the naval base and frank captained the submarine month after month until the fateful day in 1947.

captain frank was in the right place at the right time.

as captain franks old sub cruised the surface of the loa ocean... that is what he called the ocean around the mountain loa, from the amazon continent to the ural continent, the radar monitor warned him of a great threat. the great threat was something flying extremely fast from the west toward them. with such technology a level for extreme speed they could certainly sink them. captain frank decided that if they were humans they were too dangerous adn probably with that speed they are not humans so he ordered his artillery to calculate like shooting an arrow and they shot many antiaircraft rounds to the altitude and location where they would get to the target zone the same time it passed only three miles from them. for a few seconds of suspense the watched the explosives fly up and west into the clouds... they detonated as timed.... and radar showed the metal vehicle had been at the wrong place at the right time for the humans it had broken into two metal peices the larger jumped northward and then angled back toward its course much slower falling until splashing in the loa ocean between midway atoll and his submarine whicch was then cruising northwest from loa isles.

the smaller bit slowed significanty and had moved south but then returned to course curving around the sub whose name must be kept secrett due to this event.

they watched on the radar as the smaller part moved toward california on the coast of amazon continent its speed was less and less and less until it slowed to the pseed of the fastest human jet plane they knew. it had zipped over the ocean to the coast in a few minutes. it continued to slow until it crashed in roswell... plosy appeared on franks sub and expalained.

we were battling a vicious civil war on our planets by the star auxlin. when captain frank raised his eyebrows, plosy added that is by the stars sirius. c.f. wanted to say "are you serious" but realized this was not the time for a pun, so he rephrased "you came from that far away". yes one of our enemies was escaping with a powerful weapon that they stole. when we saw it was flying toward earth which is the zone i govern including your pplanet, i flew to intercept it. i destroyed the transport vessel containing the weapon they stole and watched their escape pod enter earth orbit. my sensor detected that they had already copied a smaller mimic weapon which the managed to fit into the small escape pod.

that was when i realized their plan. they would destroy the planet i govern as revenge for my sides victories by auxlin.

c.f. echoed in horror "the planet you govern?" yes this one i govern this whole area of galaxy that is why i gave advice and even helped your side in the japanese war. plosy concluded "thank you for killing my enemy now i must hurry and recover the weapon." before c.f. could blink plosy vanished. c.f. decided he must have been hallucinating simply to justify his decision. but he checked the radar records and indeed the one they had shot had appeared on radar as well as another smaller flyer that had hovered over them at the time plosy was with frank and had zipped west at the same faster than human speed. it flew to roswell and recovered the weapon.

when the orbiting auxlin separatists saw the sub shoot their rescue pod they were furious. the captain said "they ruined our plans to destroy life on earth" his other top officers agreed they must not kill unarmed rescue pod... as if it hadnot contained a weapon.

captain awfri studied the old sub from orbit as he watched in frustration that plosi was stealing his mimic weapon from the roswell crash. he refused to let plosy win and when plosy's small vehicle flew up awfri zapped it killing plosy and destroying the mimic weapon. next he stidied the crew of the human sub. he realized that captain frank onnly got the job by the admiral daughter urging her pa.

he flew back to auxlin and asked if they could use the time machine to prevent the appointment of captain frank...

long story short... when destiny climbed out the window... she was abducted by the auxlin separatists... she never recommended frank to her admiral pa... frank was not at the right place at the right time.

in fact when frank called d's home and heard that she had never CAME HOME he felt like THE WORLD ENDED... and it did.

in 1947 the escape pod carried the smaller mimic weapon from the destroyed cruiser. the large original was lost but had managed to mimic it. they entered orbit and flew low zipping across the ocean. frank had not been appointed captain of that old sub due to the admirals doubt about frank. no daughters recommendation... he appointed captain carreeim, when radar reported the vehicle, carreeim denied anything could move that fast... the vehicle arrived on the california coast and zapped using the super weapon the most populous city angeles l.a. but only zapped one on its way to the capital city of the only nation with nuclear bombs.

it flew swiftly to the target. only after frying the u.s. president who happened to be dnc democrat it slowly used the powerful ray to burn the entire city of washington only empty stone buildings remained. all the wood houses and the people burned to bones. with the government of nukes out of the way the separatist could now take revenge on their enemy who governed this part of space by killing his citizens. they slowly moved along the east coast and zapped all the humans from the u.s. coast including the capital city and new york city... which was dreadful mass murder. next it flew to the mass population in africa with many "heat signatures" of infra red. 

ONLY with the super weapon they quickly killed all human and animal life in the vast africa... starting with french west africa. the french were mad and sent their newest fastest jets south but using the superweapon the separatists had finished exterminating life along the african north coast including algeria and smaller ones. after the most populous cities in libya they ignored the desert so next they emptied egypt which would be prevented from attacking young reborn israel... 

while the jets patrolled the desert only a few hours were needed to do exterminating row by row east africa and south and central africa. last they rturned to the west bulge and finished the coast and jungles and all life in the niger river region. 

once the saw the speed of the success they delayed going to mass populaous china to exterminate the european countries and that is considered the end of the world. from france to moscow all human and animal life was changed to bones and empty stone buildings all wooden houses burnt. east from moscow were few humans so they went to china where most of the populous is not in cities. that took  more than an hour but the area was less than the nile continent. in the last part of weakening the enemy governor it flew south emptying all the malay peninsula and the many small nations that had emerged from under the japanese emperor. 

it was leaving the atmosphere when the sensors noticed the mass population in india.

so they went back down and the earths population lessened by anoth billion besides china's billion and africas billion. once back in the area they continued westward emptying the land in the region south from the caspian sea and the jordan river including palestine.

when the jews in briton hear dthis they made a rebellion against the british.

first rioters went to the streets smashing everything and saying "send the bloody jews home" no excuse remained of arab rioters. the governemnt refused. next pilots in the royal air force rebelled some jews and their supporters including jew haters who wanted the jews out all united and bombed london because they demanded briton obey its commitment to establish a jew home in ancient israel. the surprise bombing by its own planes destroyed almost every one in both the house of commons and house of lords.

some extremists jews murdered the royal family and announced the end of the royal line. this was another end of the world. 

the few parliament members who survived begged u.s. to send troops to help crush the rioters but u.s. was still recovering from its destruction of washington d.c. the official message was "you made a commitment" so the surviving members parliament called radio stations to announce the immediate repopulation of the colony in palestine.

this did not satisfy the jews who continued hunting mp and heirs of the throne... riots spread across the isle of briton from these groups who hated each other now united by the common goal get jews out of briton.

the HERO was an mp who announced on the radio he would order the army to protect a new government with a smaller house of commons no house of lords and no royal heirs.

the generals united around this pm and when they called for new elections most of the rioters were calmed. others said before the election oey the commitment so the pm relied on the fact that no opposition was alive in parliament and began arranging ships to expel as he called it jews from england. zionists and non zionists were arrested and forced into ships to establish the colony in palestine. once at sea they were granted autonomy in 1947 and established the government of israel.

then the riots calmed in briton. meanwhile asia and africa which were the mostpopulous now had less than a million each and no organized way to arrange food besdie the organized jews expelled from briton. they swiftly filled the empty buildings on the israeli coast and religious jews flowed into the empty buildings of jerusalem that some immigrants called jay-lem like j-lim. after the horror of mass murder the only minor comfort was in u.s. due to far fewer democrat voters, in the east coast the survivors has voted republican. that was the only small comfort considering the horrible loss of life that changed the world and ended the world. luckily for humanity another auxlin ehicle brought a representative from the plosy side to invite u.s. into the interstellar union if they adopted certain policies. 

they even offered the humans time travel to reverse everything and get frank to meet "his destiny named destiny"... which would prevent billions of chinese and muslim  deaths... so what would the human leaders choose? can their be any doubt?
