Season One
1, "Catteries Not Included", shown August 27, 1988 and March 5, 1989 after 1,2.
the Rescue Rangers=rr help a young girl search for her kitten. they follow a dangerous robo-dog to a lab that contains many cats in cages. professor Nimnul causes static electricity in cat fur for lightning. they understand he stole the cats and "rescue"=free them.
1,2 "Piratsy Under the Seas", March 4, 1989
The 3 rr must save C&D who were captured by pi-rats. dale enjoys the treasure hunt and finds the huge cargo of gold. they lock C&D in a bird cage. when G&M came they walk the plank to billy the squid... but zipper saves them.

1,3 "Dale Beside Himself", March 12, 1989
When dale was gathering nuts, one was a disguised space vehicle. a shape-changing space-alien had flown it to return to Earth. when the other two demand he rejoin them, he tricks Dale into flying his rocket up. dale faces the danger of getting zapd by a freeze ray so he flew home. how will dale prove which of the two dale-s is fake?
1,4 "Flash the Wonder Dog" March 19, 1989
dale loves his hero Flash the Wonder Dog. rr heard it vanished so flew to search for dale's hero. they don't know that Fat Cat, who hates dogs, sent his henchmen to abduct the "beloved hero" and tv star. they also ruin its reputation by wearing its costume to do harm. the rr encourage flash to save the bird, while they aim the camera, so all can see he is a hero.
1,5 "Out to Launch" March 26, 1989
rR flew to the launch of a space plane. Chip and Dale get trapped in a spacesuit. it floats out in orbit. the other Rangers launch a rocket to rescue C&D. they end up saving the humans too.
ENDNOTE: despite one episode shown alone, in 1988, the series started in march year 1989 for 65 episodes til November 19, 1990. in s2, the two-hour movie special, "To the Rescue", shown sep' 15, 1989 was also shown divided five parts for daily from September 18. it told how chip and dale assembled the Rescue Rangers team. despite not the first episode produced, it was chronologically "first" in the story. its ending links to the first episode "catteries" shown first August 27, 1988.
