the first christians avoided rebellion

we know that around the year 70 AD the jews rebelled against the romans after the new testament stories. jesus predicted a war. did followers of jesus join the rebellion against the romans?
eusebius preserves the story in his book history section 3.5.3 "the christians left jerusalem because they obeyed the warning of jesus about fleeing in the approaching war. they left jerusalem and went to decapolis." so we have the answer they obeyed jesus and not only did not join the rebellion but were able to avoid the trouble.
