new moon is part of the vampire series "twilight saga". i dont enjoy seeing vampires biting even on wrst so i provide a summary.
It continues Bella's story from part one titled "twilight" 2008 and has a sequel titled "eclipse" 2010.
Bella (Isabella) celebrated her 18th birthday with the Cullen's foster family. The vampires are tempted by her blood ergo Edward separates from her saying that he does not love her anymore. She goes away to cry, heartbroken while Edward had decided this for her safety.
Later, Charlie, her father, tells her that she must move forward. Encouraged she went with a friend to the cinema. She also rode on a guy's motorbike for fun. Next, Bella visits her childhood friend Jacob.
Later, she goes to meet Laurent, a nomadic vampire, in a meadow. He warns her that a woman named Victoria wants to kill her just to hurt Edward, who killed her lover (in part one "Twilight" when James was a threat to Bella). Laurent claims that killing her quickly himself is better than Victoria killing Bella horribly. Some shape-shifters save her by killing him and preventing him from killing her.
Jacob drives Bella home to her father's empty house after her dad died. Later, at the Volturi's headquarters Bella talks with them until Aro orders Felix to kill her. Edward saves her by fighting Felix. Also Alice tries to save Bella by claiming that Bella will change and become a vampire, so Aro frees her.
The Cullen's foster family debate and vote about changing Bella to a vampire. On one hand Bella wants this but Edward said it would violate a treaty (and probably feels that adding anther harmful vampire is a moral problem as hinted in part 1). She begs Edward to make her a vampire so she can be near him. Edward responds that he will only do that if she marries him first... Bella shows shock...
