Katniss was in District 12, which got destroyed. she took personal items: her cat, her deceased father's jacket, a photo of her parents' wedding. she saw a rose and understood Snow's threat. she recalled that only Beetee and Finnick got saved with her from the arena, but Peeta and 2 other victors got held captive.

in Prague, Czech, during a party, the Impossible Mission Force is doing a mission. the 6 agents were trying to get an important list from in a computer. one by one everyone except Ethan Hunt got killed. meanwhile someone was stealing the copy of the list. director k' met Hunt in a bar and accused "you are the mole" that caused their deaths. Hunt detonated the bar's fish tank, aiding his escape to the safe house. he investigated and found Job the buyer of the list.
Claire enters, surprisingly alive. Hunt met with Max and told her he will get it. Hunt led Franz & Luther to sneak into CIA h.q. to copy the real list. Hunt hung and got the list. Hunt tried to reveal the mole by swapping the square discs. later, on the ch-unnel train, Jim admitted he was the traitor with his wife Claire. Jim tried to escape and shot her. On top of the train, Hunt wrestled Jim. it entered the ch-unnel. Hunt killd both Jim and Franz using the gum explosive ending the threat.
kat rose up into the arena and saw the huge horn that seemed silvery. some people ran toward the supplies, where they tried to kill each other before getting killed. in that first battle 11 died so 13 survived.
the first 2 girls who reached the weapons were ireen from d. 9 and julee d. 10. julee grabbed a crossbow. the short arrow called bolt was in it so she pulled the trigger... but it had not been pulled back! ireen saw the crossbow and needed to act fast to save herself! she lifted a javelin and threw it at julee. julee pulled back the string and aimed: zzzt. the arrow hit ireen in her left lung while the javelin hit julee. both died at the same time.
by then, kat had already won the bag from dead Ivo Iyzman, the male from d. 9=9m. clove had thrown a knife to kill him. d. 9 got eliminated. meanwhile by the weapons, 4 more died: the male d. 1 named marvel used a knife to kill huburt d.8. deen m4 got killed by cato d. 2. cora f3 got killed by ethin d. 5 who soon got killed by glimmer 1f.
the pairs from districts 6 &7 died at the start too. cato m2, who was the VICTOR in 73 =m2, and volunteered now in 74 as career, killed 6m called jason, meanwhile, glimmer f1 also killed fay 6f. thresh d. 11 killed georj 7m. marvel also killed gemma 7f totaling 11 dead. that night they showed the dead: 3f, 4m, 5m, 6mf, 7fm, 8m, 9mf, and 10 f. the 13 survivors were the 8 in pairs from 1+2+11+12, 3m, 4f, 5f, 8f, 10m.
caden casel m3 joined the careers. he guarded their supplies until kat destroyed the supplies. then cato killed m3. 4f, named donna dowdil survived and joined the career pack until kat caused jacker to sting. 4f died from the mutant hornet stings. 5f, edith, who kat called fox face was in the last six survivors until she ate poison berries.
another survivor was hehlin hoegarty d. 8, who got stabbed by careers but survived. peeta m12 killed her. jaxon m10 got injured severely but survived until day 8. he died dehydrated.
the pairs from 11 &12 survived: rue and thresh , kat & peeta, as well as the career pairs from 1 & 2, glimmer & marvel , cato and clove.
marvel 1m killed huburt 8m, and also killed gemma 7f. later he killed rue f11. then kat f12 killed him using an arrow, before he could kill her. +glimmer 1f killed ethin 5m & fay, 6f. later, the bee stings killed her. 5m killed by 1f, but 5f survived until she ate poison berries. 6f killed by glimmer. 7f killed by 1m like 8m.
cato 2m killed 3 boys: 3m, 4m & 6m called jason. cato died last. clove 2f killed 9m. she got killed by thresh m11. 3m killed by cato 2m. 3f killed by 5m. 4m killed by 2m, 4f killed by bee stings.
7m killed by thresh 11m, 8f killed by peeta 12m. 9m killed by 2f.

mudd, 4473, on 5 jan', McCoy and Spock passed Norman. in engineering section, n' hit crew and changed the controls. Norman entered the bridge and exposed himself as an android. on 10 jan' they arrive by a planet. "stardate 4513.3" (-4d.) kirk logged that four days after we got taken over by an android, we orbited a planet. kirk and team beamed down and saw mudd on a throne. m' told how he stole a ship to escape punishment.
androids told that they were built by people in another galaxy. all crew were sent down. androids controlled their ship. scotty studied their hi tec stuff. mudd tried to leave but androids stopped him they will use the ship to go and subdue "aggressive" humans. kirk team confused the androids until they burn out even the leader.
tribble, 4523 the next day 11 jan. Stardate 4523.3 they rush to a space station. kirk team said the local history: "twenty-three years after the inconclusive Battle of Donatu V" with klingons, a treaty decided whichever can develop the planet's resources most efficiently can claim it. [such a treaty hinted at israel better claim to israel than the locals who had not developed it for centuries]. the guy showed kirk the grain that can grow in the disputed planet. it must be protected for using the planet. a guy gave a furry animal to uhura.
klingons met with humans. mccoy studied the furball. in the bar furballs protest at klingons. a k' provoked scott who hit him. the humans and klingons brawled. kirk blamed the one who "threw the first punch" but provoke is not starting. [the one who hits should not hit and started the war. no excuse "i was provoked nor he started by provoking," because must not hit. again a hint to israel getting hit by arab neighbors who claim we were provoked [to hide their true obedience to the jihad command], still the one who hits is the bad one despite provoked].
furballs are everywhere. each of many was breeding quickly. even when generating food furballs fell in. kirk opend a door to storage, so furballs fell on him. the grain was not protected. many furballs were dead indicating the grain was poisoned. they use furball to find the klingon spy who admitted to putting a virus to harm whoever ate the grain. they beamed all the furballs to the klingon ship.
piece, 4598* [book], on 22 jan. they orbited the planet that had been visited a century ago. kirk beamed down but got captured. they find that a book from the previous visit inspired gang wars. ok' threatened give me weapons or die. kirk tricked guards about a card game who got surprised and overpowereds. 2 returned to ship. again, kirk got captured again and brought to another boss. ok told spock that kirk got captured so he will help if they return. they return and... get captured.
meanwhile kirk used a wire by the door. he yelled help when they ran in they tripped and fell so he hit them and stole a gun and escaped. he came and saved spock. they they dress as mobsters and start a syndicate all on same side working together. instead of shooting at each other. the mobsters doubt their power until the ship zapd people. they realize they should submit to kirk, ending the war. kirk and team left.
name 4657 intergalactic engine, on 30 jan., kirk team got paralyzed. aliens will take them in ship to another galaxy. aliens paralyzed the crew. kirk got imprisoned but spock used mind to help escape but captured again. they change two into white items. Rojan crumbled one item Hanar used belt device to revert the man. they return to ship where crew is items that wont eat. the only option to stop them inviting n invasion is self destruct which kirk hesitated to agree. kirk and team emphasized the alien's human parts, so they will not be accepted. the aliens return to the planet instead of inviting the invasion.
4729 computer, on 9 feb. kirk got ordered to give control to a computer. the computer harmed stuff and they try to stop it but fail. it killed people. so they convince it to feel guilty for killing and it lets itself get disabled.
4768 return, on 14/2, a voice forced them to beam down, showing it can switch of the ship power. on the planet they swap brains and plan to free the aliens. but the aliens want to keeep the human bodies and one killed the other alien. surprise! it can exist without a body. the whole thing was to expose the bad alien.
4842 paradise, on 25/2 they went to warn people about a dangerous asteroid but the people are primitive. kirk vanished and lost memory. bones insisted on searching for kirk. this delayed the deflection of the asteroid so it will crash anyway. how will they save kirk and the planet now?
flaw after engine, said 4657 and specified "warp 11" gasp this must be before 4657 because rushed straining engine.
5029+ children on 23/4 kirk team found adult bodies dead. kids come aboard ship but control minds and make trouble. kirk overcame the mind control and told crew to obey him but kids too strong control crew. kirk showed kids their friend hurt their family so kids used power to destroy the evil leader.

c 16 Kat hoped that the Careerist won't know how to hunt, due to living where food is plentiful, so destroying their food will cause hunger. she heard the cannon, signal another one died. Kat and Rue hunted. rue had spied so told kat about the Careerist food. only one boy guards it. young Rue told "i am the oldest of my siblings and love music." She always sang at work in the orchards. also when the flag signals the end of the workday, Rue sang so mockingjays repeat. By the afternoon, Rue built three pyres as a diversion.
Rue wanted a signal so taut Kat her song for the mockingjays in the arena. Kat went and hid and watched the food. four guarded the supplies that were piled like a pyramid. she feared traps. one shouted about smoke so they grabd weapons. she heard that Peeta got injured badly so can't steal their food. all 4 left but she hesitated... a girl ran out from the trees. she was jumping to the supplies. now Kat knew the ground had mines, moved there and reactivated. when kat was alone again, she aimed at the bag of apples. her 3 arrows tore it. The apples tumbled out detonating the mines. the blast knocked her down and destroyed the pile of supplies.
C 17 Kat lost her hearing but all the supplies got destroyed. she crawld quickly back to her hiding place in the thick bushes. the others returned. Cato broke the neck of the now unneeded guard. Kat hid and slept there. In the morning, she heard in her right ear again. Kat went to meet Rue who wasn’t at the place. she looked for Rue until finding the third pyre unlit. she continued searching and found Rue tangled in a net. then a boy speared rue.
C 18 Kat shot the male competitor before he could kill her. She cut the net to free Rue who was fatally wounded. Kat sang a lullaby to her. Kat took their items. kat saw young rue dead and this caused rage toward the president. She coverd Rue’s body in flowers, before the corpses would be collected. that night, a gift came. It was the bread shaped in District 11 style. In the morning, Kat motivated herself by the thought of Prim watching her. She hunted and realized he was the first person who she directly killed.
trumpets sounded, followed by an announcement, that six remain [listed in next chapter: 2 pairs from district 12 and 2 plus 2 more] that 2 tributes from the same district can both be victors. that applies to d. 2 and d. 12. --19-- Kat's biggest threats are career pair d. 2. [in my fan fiction the d. 2 winner of 73 hunger games was cato! volunteering again in this 74]. In the morning, Kat lookd for Peeta near water until hearing him. He was hidden under mud. His leg was badly cut and infected. Kat washed mud from him and his clothes.
she chewed the leaf to put on the stings and on the infected wound so swelling lessened as puss left. he leaned on her until hiding in a cave. She kissed him. this must have aroused support because another gift: hot broth came.
C 20 Peeta’s leg infection spread. Kat told him a story about Prim. she hid that she and Gale hunted an animal which they sold. instead she told that she sold her mother’s silver locket. Kat went to buy dress fabric but saw a wounded goat. Kat knew that prim can heal it and love it. instead of a dress she bought the goat and gave it to Prim. the goat gave milk which they sold as cheese that repaid its cost. they heard trumpets and the announcement for supplies: a pack for each person with something they desperately need. They argued about the risk. Kat went to wash. a gift came, It’s sleep syrup useful to stop his interference. Kat mashd berries and mixed in the syrup. She fed Peeta who slept.
21 Kat kissd Peeta and pretended to wipe a tear for the show. She went near the huge horn. the sun rose. a table rose up out of the ground. on it were 3 packs and one small pack. Foxface ran out from horn and grabd her pack. Kat ran to the table and grabd her pack. she turned. a knife cut her forehead. a girl knocked her down and sat on her. she said mean things and held the knife by kat's lips. she cut Kat’s lip but a boy lifted her off kat. he hit a rock on her head. He askd kat if Rue was her ally. Kat told her story hoping for a quick death instead of pain. he let her live, this time.
Kat ran. Thresh took two packs. she returned to their cave and crawld in. she took the syringe and injected his arm. still bleeding she felt dazed and fainted. --22-- Kat dreamt of home and heard rain until she woke. much rain fell so Peeta had set the cover to keep them dry. he also had bandaged her wound. they chatted and she said that she wished noone else would die. cato? She cryd. they ate the last food. Peeta told her about the field of shoulder-high grass by the horn. they kiss, this time she was sincere. cold caused them to share the sleeping bag again. Peeta wrapped his arms around her.
she felt close to him. they stay in the cave instead of hunting due to the storm. he told his story: on their first day of school, their teacher asked who knew the valley song. Kat sang it. that was when Peeta fell in love, but was too shy to say. now he is the only guy around. she said that he has no competition anywhere. they heard a noise outside. It’s a basket of food, their love had drawn support.
C 23 the couple chatted more about the luxurious home called the Victor’s Village. at night, they saw Thresh’s picture indicated his death so only Foxface and Cato remained. Kat and Peeta gaurd in shifts. They ate. if win Her family would have all they need [but does that justify killing cato? maybe better to die than to kill a person? but she was the provider and cato wanted to kill so must kill cato first but she wished nobody would die so can't]. in the morning, the rain stopped. They went to the place where she had been hunting.
Peeta's noise chased off the food so Kat showd Peeta edible roots so he went to gather. kat hunted some rabbits and a squirrel. she went toward Peeta. he didn’t respond to her whistl so she feared that cato killed him. she saw a pile of roots and berries on a tarp. He returned and explained he was by the stream collecting berries. Kat complained that he scared her. she saw cheese was smaller and complained that he ate cheese. when she recognized poison berries, they heard the cannon.they saw her red hair when she got lifted by the hovercraft. Peeta warned that Cato is near, but Kat showed him the berries.
C 24 Kat explaind she stole poisonous berries [now from the last six only cato remained]. they kept berries hoping to fool Cato. they cooked and returned to their cave. in the morning they came to the stream that was dry, so they went to the lake. they sat. Kat sang Rue’s tones. Cato came out of the trees running with no weapons. Kat shot arrow that hit his chest. his body armor deflected it. Cato ran between the couple. big wolves came so they ran.
25 Kat saw mutt-ations chasing Cato. They looked like giant wolves. Cato ran to the huge horn. she fled too and climbd the horn and pulled p' but one jumpd high enough and grabd Peeta so she held him. Cato started strangling p'. if she shot cato, Peeta will also fall. Peeta took blood from his leg and made an "X" on Cato's hand. Kat shot arrow at target. cato loosened arm. Peeta got free. cato slipped down and stabbed some muttations that cant bite through his armor. they pull him into the horn. Night came but still no cannon announced his death.
p' was bleeding heavily from the wound in his leg, so she tied it. in morning she hung down and saw Cato bleeding but alive. she shot him. The cannon sounds. the muttations left. they climbed down and heard announcement that the rules direct only one winner. Peeta untied his bleeding and ordered her to kill him for mercy and to go home. she can't because he is not a threat. they held the poison berries, hoping to fool the managers. they stood back to back and each one put the berries in their own mouths... so someone shouted "stop". they are the winners.
epilog: they spit out the berries. after they left the arena, peeta got his leg treated. hamitch warned her that president got angry claiming she was starting rebellion by defying his authority. on stage she hugged p' for a long time to pretend she loved p' lots, to fool people that was the reason they refused to kill each other. on the train, peeta got angry when he learned that kat thought he was pretending for the audience. as they exit the train to the platform, Peeta took her hand, for the cameras. kat felt mixed feelings for Peeta. they held hands one last time for the audience. they each went to a luxurious home. kat felt confusing feelings.
