On the first day of the third month [19.1] since Israel left Egypt, they camped by Mount Sinai. Moses climbed up. god spoke with him [see leviticus c26 so i fixed here to avoid error] Moses came down n slept at nyt. moses climbed up again. god told Moses, “I will come in a dense cloud. mark a border around the mountain.
"tell israel not to approach the mountain. a person or animal will die. Only when the ram’s horn sounds a long blast, may they approach the mountain. tell israel to wash clothes." Moses came down and told them so they obeyd. at dawn thunder was with lightning. a thick cloud was over the mountain. a very loud tube sounded.
the people saw lightning [20.18] and smoke. they heard the trumpet n thunder, they feard. Moses led israel from the camp to Mount Sinai. smoke covered it because god descended on its top in fire. [sounds like a space ship!] the mountain trembled. the trumpet sound grew louder and louder. cloud covered the mountain 6 days.
remember you were slaves in egypt and god opposed slavery and freed you, so we must not buy [21.2] any slaves. God said, "I will kill your enemy [23.23] in the land of Canaan. I will send the hornet [23.28, so it was in book joshua "not with your sword"] ahead of you." on the seventh day, God looked to the Israelites like a fire on top of the mountain.
Moses went up it n entered the cloud [24.18]. he stayed forty days and nights. God told Moses, [25.1] “Tell the Israelites to bring gold n supplies n fabrics. make a tent [26.1] and its vessels: a box [25.10] a table a lamp, a stand for incense [30.1] scents and a wash basin. curtains [27.9] should surround the yard.
make a service suit [28.2] for the high *preists: a robe [28.39] covered by a green robe [28.31] covered by a multicolored [28.6] mini skirt. also a cloth with gems for his chest, a gold band with [28.37] a hat. They obeyed [35.4, 36.8-39.31 but bad to repeat].
God denied commanding sacrifice [jeremia chapter 7. the fable of calf idol was not history in flavius nor anything related]. Moses had a tent outside the camp. whenever he went out, people stood at their tent entrances, until he entered his tent.
when Moses enterd, the pillar of cloud came down [33.9] and stayed at his tent entrance. the people saw the pillar of cloud n bowed. on the first day of the first month in the second year [40.17] since they left egypt, Moses set up the tent and its vessels and dressed the preist. the cloud covered the tabernacle.
whenever the cloud lifted from above it, they traveld. the cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night.
