intro: the tv series had only one animated episode that faild in 1973. reshown in 1980 but nobody invested. see episode summary below for the tv series with 3 seasons.

my summary of video 1998. 

a spy programd a robot to destroy, after launch, the sv. he almost died when his boss fried his devices. he awoke in the doomd sv and tried to stop the robot. it destroyed guidance system. unable to stop the robot, the spy woke the crew: ma pa 2 daughters the pilot and a son named will. son stopd the robot. without  guidance they must return home. before they can, they fall toward the sun and cannot escape the effect of sun's mass. 

 they will burn, unless they use risky technology. it blasts them far away, where they battle and destroy many scary spiders.
they landed on a planet and search for fuel. they see a portal to another time. how will they use the portal to escape this planet? -- new series 2018.

all ideas are from  episodes  or "official" synopses, of this series, not mine. enjoy the exciting adventures

my summary of "lost in space pilot" 1965

l.s. "no place to hide" was not televised, but several exciting parts were shown in later episodes.

my summary "the sv launched up from earth. it flew until meteors knocked it off course and damaged the navigation causing "lost". they crash and skid on a planet. there they face the dangers of that planet." NOTE: some dangers were included in later episodes. despite the dangers, the story was not adventurous enuf until they added sabotage.

s1e1, reluctant, the "official summary" of this episode differs from the story and the order  needs fixing so i fix: "in the future year "1997", a spy sabotaged the space trip. he was the doctor who inspected the family for space travel. he was busy until the door sealed him inside the doomd vehicle. the saucer vehicle, named jupiter two,  launches up with the pioneer family.  smith "accidently destroys" that means unintentionally, his weight caused the direction to change enuf to hit meteors, that destroy the guidance system. ergo smith woke the pilot to dodge the meteors. the dr. also unplugs the robot to prevent the sabotage, and save himself. don wakes the family to repair the damages. young will, unaware of the programming, "fixd" the robot. it obeys the dr.'s program and damages the ship until they pull the power pack off. 

pa exited to fix an external device. he slips a few times until his cord breaks. ma exits and shot a rope toward him but he floated and the rope is too far.... to be continued. +pa grabs the rope. parents try to open the door but a mysteriously hot comet expanded the door. both are trapd outside. they use chemicals to cool the door and don the pilot pulld in the parents. 

note: the synopsis from this point is good except for missing the excitement, so see below. smith's guilt is greater than "accident", he tried to intentionally "attempted murder" the family as well as destroy the entire sv. he programd the robot which did damage. also not him but the meteors destroy the guidance... the words seem to say "unintentionaly he only damaged part", the evil is also "after dodging the meteors, smith threatens to shoot the pilot unless he flies back to earth. the pilot named don said "you need me alive to pilot"

summary of episode 2: derelict. alien life pulled j2 into their sv. pa and the pilot [named don]  find a star map. smith zapd an alien who chased them back to j2. the forcefield kept the alien away so they successfully escaped.

brief summaries

1,s15, reluctant, in the future year "1997", a spy programd a robot to destroy a space vehicle, after launch. he gets trapd in the doomd sv, due to hiding from security. a family flew the sv up. the robot ruind the guidance system, before they puld its power circuit out, hence they are lost. to be continued...

2,s22, derelict, an alien sv puld their sv named jupiter 2,  inside. 2 men find  a star map.  the spy zapd an alien ergo all flee. with their force field blocking the alien, they fly out.
3>5, island,s29, they flew to the planet on map. from orbit, pa flew down to check if livable. his jet malfunctioned  so crashed. pilot landed j2 on surface for searching for pa. they save pa.  the cold threatens so they rode south. +a cyclops threw rocks at them until pilot zapd  the c'. they rode over frozen sea until heat increased. they hid under shade. +the heat forced them back north. they float over sea and return to j2. 

6o20, welcome, a lost traveler came. they help repair his sv for explore spacee. 

7, o27, my, penny meets and becomes frends with a force. later, the spy accidently injured her. the force caused a storm until she calmed it, after the planet changed.
H8,n3=11\3, inv., aliens came and captured smith. their dangerous plan is taking his brain to replace their guidance system. smith convinced them that the brain from will is better, and promised to deliver it.
I9,11\10 oasis, smith ate fruit that grew him giant. now he can kill the r. family and take the ship. how will they escape his plan before the fruit effect ends?
J10,11\17sky, they meet another family, but the language is different so unable to understand them.
K11,11\24 wish, smith found a device in a vehicle. he gave it to r family so they will trust him. the device grants wishes and soon the r family is very greedy, until the alien owner came to reclaim it.
L12,12\1 raft, they build a small vehicle to send don the pilot home but smith stole it and flew away with will. when landing they see they did not reach earth so he must return will to family.
M13,12\8 one, penny finds a sv containing a dog etc.
