 in france, near the seine river, in the first year of louis the tenth, belle [that means beautiful] awoke in the early dawn when the sky was still dark blue. she heard her pa's horse by her window. she felt fear where was pa? he was supposed to be riding the horse since he had left the previous day. belle rode her pa's horse to search for him. the horse led her to a castle that seemed abandoned. she entered and saw a hairy beast eating.

it said i will let pa go if you marry me. she loved her father and agreed.  that same day pa watched her marry the beast by the ceremony led by the enchanted piano harpscord. bell asked for her pa to live in the castle so beast agreed to give him a room. 

but pa wanted to rescue his daughter from the scary hairy beast. pa left and rode to his town on the seine river to call for help. meanwhile in the castle the beast who still loved to read led bell to the castle library and recommended books to read. they sat together and read books until the sundial showed an hour to sunset. then he led bell to his vast garden in the walls, and talked about books she had read. she enjoyed being with this beast and the more they talked the more she loved him and the magic changed him back to a prince.

in the town pa called the people to rescue his daughter but they said he was crazy and locked him in the crazy house for a month. finally they let him out so he went back to the castle. there he found the real prince so lived with his daughter belle in the castle.

belle birthed a daughter. fairies came and gave blessings naming her aurora. one evil fairy said "on her sixteenth birthday she will ride a carriage and fall asleep inside and sleep forever never to awake just like dead.  and so the evil fairy cursed the daughter. the wise prince beast said we can be patient and enjoy life until then.

years passed of luxury in the castle. when the sixteenth birthday was just one week away, prince beast called the magic fairies to protect the princess aurora. they WALKED with her, not wagon into the forest and then used fairy dust to jump instantly into one of the many secret homes that the royal couple had built in the forest. there she would live for a week until the day of the curse passed with no people nor carriages.

the evil fairy came to materialize her curse. she used dark magic to find which house. this is how she found it: first, on the birthday, the evil fairy named maliverit asked the magic mirror where is the princess. it said magic hid her. so the evil fairy did a powerful dark magic on the mirror and the mirror found the location. then mal' changed herself into a dragon and flew to the home. she roared a warning so the protection fairies came out to fight her. as they warned her to leave and mali agreed she turned away and started flying but a moment later turned her long neck and blew blazing blasts of flame at the cottage roof. the thatches of branches and stalks burnt. good fairies tried to use magic to end the fire but it was a magic fire strengthened by dragon power, and in the moments of their attempts mali used her wand to strengthen the fire.

then the fairies struggled to use magic to put out the fire. mali changed the home into a carriage with wheels and as the smoke made aurora fall fainted the carriage went between trees.

the good fairies overcame the magic so the fire was out but by then the carriage was rolling away so the good fairies named wendy and corri chased but mali shrunk the carriage small like a bird and added wings so it flew like a bird faster than the fairies. again mali changed to the form of a dragon and chased the good fairy couple away. the wagon wings flapped and carried her back to the castle. the carriage grew again and mali carried the sleeping beauty to her parents. when they saw the carriage and their daughter they started crying. the evil mali just laughed at her power and their powerlessness.

the good fairies came and promised they would reverse the magic. they tried and tried and the best thing they could do was bring her close enough to life that a loving kiss would awaken her. belle and her man loved their daughter and each kissed her but nothing happened it must be a different love.

so regretfully bell called the boy that aurora liked, she asked if he loved her he said yes. he kissed aurora and the spell ended.

the next year aurora had a baby boy. prince beast decreed that the kingdom would go directly to his grandson king john the first, named for the tragedy of king john the first who had died just a few days from his birth. 

years passed in luxury until john reached age 13. beast insisted that he make a child now so the heir would be known since he was physically mature. prince carmin wanted to hunt but he must obey the king. the king warned him he must choose a wife now or he would choose one. [norway version 2023] in the same town lived a girl who her sister called cinderella.  her name was really ella but her cruel father and mother made her search for peas in a bucket of cinder ashes so her sister anesthesia called her cinder+ella. when they hear about the dance the parents argued which of their daughters should get to wear the nicest dress. pa wanted ella to wear it because she was older. but ma wanted ana to wear it because she favored ana.

that night when ella was cooking soup, ana called her away for a chore. clean my room. ella argued i am not your slave. ma came and said i say to clean her room and i am your mother when you live in my house you must obey me. ella submitted. then ma scooped some soup out added some poison potion that she had bought from mali, and served the soup to her husband. she poisoned him as he ate the soup and, in a few seconds, crumpled into a pile of cinders. with pa out of the way she gave the nice dress to ana.

ana rode a horse to the castle and tried to dance with the young prince but he called her old milk cow. so she started crying. at home ella was crying so the fairies corri and wendi came. corri took glass from a window and heated it on the fire to make soft glass slipper he used magic so it would be the CORRECT size. wendi changed an old moldy dress into a new blue dress. she warned the magic would end at midnight. next the fairies sprinkled fairy dust so she jumped into the castle. 

the prince was sitting bored. he hated al the old women. bell told him a story to pass the time. every few minutes beast came and urged him to picjk a wife or else he would pick because he must have an heir. carmin sighed and said all are bad i do not care which. but before beast could pick one ella appeared in her blue dress. as soon as he saw her he felt that he wanted to make her happy and give her anything. he ran and said ar you thirtsy. ella said yes so prince carmin ordered bring her some fine wine. ella drank and started to feel silly she asked him to dance they wirled around and carmin had so much fun. he led her to the beast and said i will marry her. beast asked where do you live.... but the dancing had been so fun that the bell started ringing dong dong dong. ella recalled her dress would change back to moldy! she ran out to find the fairied but the hard class hurt her feet to run so she took off both and ran down the steps. she called for corri but he was chasing bats. she ran along the road until her dress changed back to old and moldy. on the glass remained because it was made from real glass not magic. the prince lifted the shoes and said find the girl.

they ran out and saw ella on the side of the road in a moldy dress "did you see a girl in a pretty blue dress? she felt ashamed that they saw her in a moldy dress and thought they would not believe her anyway so she said the half truth. i saw her and she lives in the home at the street by the well.

they ran their but the home was empty. finally corri came and sprinkled fairy dust to move her to her room and change but too late the fast horses had already found the house empty.

because pa had died poisoned and ma was asleep at midnight and sis ana was at the castle.

the next morning prince took the two glass shoes and went to the home. she banged on the door. ma wanted ana to get it because she favored ana more than her daughter cinderella. so ma tried the shoe but it was too big. next she said i have one daughter ana. ana tried on the shoe and it was the correct size but... as they put on the shoe it grew too big and was loose. ma said because it is nt hers it is mine. so they brought the glass shoe to her big foot and it looked the right size but it shrunk as her toes entered and did not fit. ma was furious and said if ana cant have it nobody will. so she grabbed the glass shoe and threw it at the wall crashing it. the soldier of the king shrieked the prince would kill him for failing so he pulled his arrow and killed the cruel mother.

luckily the other glass shoe was still wrapped in fabric. wendi freed ella from the locked room using magic when ella tried the second shoe, surviving it fit so they knew she was the one despite her poor clothing. so the gaurd took her to marry the prince and sent ana to an orphanage now that her widow ma died. 

so that is how ella the hated daughter wed the prince and in a year had a baby boy named john the second.   beast rejoiced that he had two generations of heir his grandson carmin and Carmin's son john.

carmin grew and ruled the castle and surrounding villages. when the war broke out, in the ninth year of philip the sixth, later called the hundred year war france had several defeats.  The two principal claimants to the french crown had bene Edward III of England, because his mother, was sister of king Charles IV. the other was Philip, son of king Philip IV’s [died 1314] brother Charles.

who should inherit? should charles the brother of king philip 4 pass it to his son? or sister of king Charles IV pass it to her son? The assembly decided by male so Philip 6 king. later, as the hundred year war raged, john wed the daughter of philip the sixth who did not have a son. so john inherited the kingdom of philip the sixth. he became king john 2 during the hundred years war.

so that is the source of the stories "beauty and beast" and of "sleeping beauty" and of "cinderella" all in one same family, leading to the kingdom during the hundred years war and solving the historical mystery we know the son of john 2 but who was the son of philip six? daughter's husband john birthed by cinderella became king john the 2. and the rest is history

c 10 The crowd cheered for Peeta’s announcement of love for Kat. Later she shoved him angrily. they got advised: when the gong will sound, they should run away instead of getting supplies. That night, Kat could not sleep. She found Peeta on the roof. In the morning, Kat flew by hovercraft. She got a tracker before arriving at the arena. there, Cinna pind the gold mockingjay pin on her. she rode up to...

C 11 They all waited for the gong. While kat waited, she looked around. a huge horn held supplies. Peeta signaled to her “no.” The gong sounded. she lost her chance to get bow and arrows so she grabd a nearby tarp and ran to an orange backpack. She and a boy grab and pull it until he got killed. She ran towards the forest. a knife stabbed the pack. meanwhile the others were killing each other and some lay dead on the ground. She enterd the woods and searched for water as ordered. a cannon sounded, eleven cannon blasts.

they marked the 11 deaths, that kat had not seen. [therefore were not in book. the film added a few details how some died but not all and not named so see my fan fiction.]

kat saw that her pack held stuff including a sleeping bag, food, a bottle of iodine for clean water, and an empty bottle. Kat ran and walked until dark. she spread the sleep bag on branches in a tree and tied her belt to hold herself to a branch. she saw who died. Someone lit a fire near her. near dawn, Kat heard people running toward the fire. she heard A girl beg and then scream. peeta went to make sure she died.

C 12 Kat felt angry that Peeta joined the Careers. he was bruised. Peeta rejoined them. The cannon sound indicated peeta killed her. the Careerists left. she climbd down and found a rabbit that her trap trapped. she cooked it over the coals of the dead girl. she ate as she walkd away from Careers. she was dehydrating. nobody died that day. the second morning, she had a bad headache. she searched for water until fainting in mud. wet ! she Crawld to water. the third 3 night she again slept in a tree until smoke woke her. she fled from the fire that was spreading.

c 13 Kat ran from the fire. She was choking on smoke. a fireball the size of an apple flew near her. She ran until A fireball hit her pants. She put out the fire, but burnt her hands and leg. she limped until she found a small pool. The water soothed her burns. She rested in the water. that afternoon, footsteps neared so she climbed a tree. the five Careers and Peeta found her. a girl held the bow and arrows.  A large teen named Cato was climbing up until a branch broke so he fell. arrow girl came up but stopped by the smaller branches afraid to fall like cato. She shot an arrow at Kat but missed. 

The group waited. Kat prepared to sleep in the tree. she saw Rue, the young girl in a nearby tree. Rue pointed above Kat’s head. --C 14-- Kat saw the wasp nest. later, during the anthem she sawd the branch but did not finish. she must wait so nobody will hear the sawing. if they heard they would move away and be able to kill her. Kat found a gift to heal burns. the 4 dawn she awoke and finishd cutting the branch. hornets stung her too. the nest crashed on the ground. hornets, that the Capitol engineerd mutation during the rebelion, attacked those who wanted to kill her. 

Most ran to the lake, but bow girl, who had shot at kat, got stung to death. two more cannons. Kat came down and ran to the pool to soak her stings that swelled. next she went to get the bow. after difficulty she got the bow and arrows. Peeta appeared and warned her to leave. she fled and started hallucinating from the sting poison. --C 15-- Kat awoke with the bow and arrows. She searched for water. She washed and hunted. she started cooking and heard a twig snap. Rue came. Rue had healed kat. thay talked and saw their items. Rue explained the night-vision glasses. They climbed a tree to sleep, and shared her sleeping bag. they planned to destroy supplies.

system lords destroyed by star gate forces

which system lords=sl did sg1 or sgc kill

obviously many guld were born. we are shown some guld are subjects for example a guld under Anubis and the guld torturing tealc under heruur. other guld were system lords and some of the system lords were in the high council but others were banished from the council for example thoth who carter killed in 2004 when thoth was under anubis. a mission in 2005 in a novel sg1 killed another.

The first guld ruler that sg1 killed was in 1996 at abydos. a planet near earth 300 light years or nearer. it was ra who had been chased off earth who fled to a nearby planet. turns out they killed the highest rank supreme system lord ra who had defeated the previous prime sokar and deposed him. others were not killed by sg1. when an sg guy "joined" the sentinel it killed the attacking jaffa and unseen, as a sentinel it also destroyed the guld system lord svarog in his ship that "went away". not sg1 but sg guy caused it. and fans listed sgc caused the death of apophis and svarog etc. listed despite unseen. 

the first guld ruler that sgc killed was not only a system lord but supreme system lord. the only one highest rank despite plenty system lords remained. their highest were the high council who battled each other sometimes killing other guld. when sg1 interfered cause sl apophys to kill sl heruur. a jaffa arkad killed a system lord atum and kull were sent who successfully killed many system lords but that is not by sgc. which ones did sg1 kill? similarly replicators killed many guld system lords and even high council too. replicator carter killed sl yu in 2005, and probably all the entire high council present in that room. six more. but during the six years of sgc which ones?

in time order 1939: bal he got killed by sg1 in 1939. this prevented his prevention of delivery of star gate. [continuum]

1996: sg1 killed ra by a bomb into his ship [star gate] he turned out to be the supreme system lord who had replaced sokar.

1999: hathor june [s3], while hathor was fighting sam, jack surprised her and threw her in a device that killed her.

set. in july, sg1 infiltrated a cult on earth and killed ex-sl set using guld technology.

2000: heruur in year 2000, sg1 caused Apophis to destroy Heru'ur's ship killing the sl by sending a tampered mine to explode on apophis shield.

2001 sg1 killed several sl this year:  cronus , in 2001, [f.] sg1 attacked cronus and while cronus was torturing tealc the tealc android killed cronus.

Apophis. in 2001, [jun] after sg caused the death of cronus, replicators took control of his ship, that he had hijacked from sg1 who had won it when killing cronus, sg1 caused it to crash by shooting its crystals causing the death of this system lord.

Marduk in 2001, [au.] after apophis died, sg1 saw him and used c4 to explode and rubble crushed him to death, 5.8 

2002 svarog got killed when an sgc guy joined the device called sentinel. it cleaned all the jaffa and the ship with sl in orbit.

2004 Moloc in 2004 sgc shot a missile killing this sl. besides thoth the ex-s.l.

2005 ares, in 2005 sg1 shot ancient drone to destroy his ship killing the sl ares. in a mission in a novel they killed one more.

star gate sg1 fan fiction

intro: the first sg1 mission was to EXPLORE a new world. there they met people enslaved by ra. so they led a rebellion and killed the false god ra, by "ringing" the bomb into ra's space ship.

only later would they discover that ra had been one of many system lords and that they had killed the PRIME system lord called supreme see end note. now only the council of system lords remained. 

before sg1 killed ra, ra had defeated supreme sokar in egypt see endnote later. between the defeat of ra and the first sgc mission, a battle happened between the guld bal and the guld #yahweh.

yahweh was ambitious. he had no host yet nor host meaning army. yu, the "oldest of the Goa'uld", found his younger brother a host from a human in his "extensive realm". long after ra fled earth in 3000 b.c. around 1500-1600 bc', yu sent his younger brother yahweh to earth.

yahweh went to egypt that had been vacated by ra. around 1500-1600 bc he told some slaves that they should accept him as their god "taking the persona" as guld often did, of a known local god "i am the god of your father abraham" despite only arriving recently.

yahweh preferred jerusalem as his capital city, and god only knows why, so he used "magic" as his technology must have seemed, to free those loyal to him from egypt. he used technology to get them across a sea. he pretended to give them moral and sacrificial laws like maybourne did much later, just for the persona of the god who was familiar to them.

with technology he helped them conquer the land around jerusalem including the famous walls of jericho. he appointed solomon as administrator with the condition if he would build a temple to worship him which solomon did. yahweh brought many guld to get hosts in jerusalem. if they submitted to him he would find them a host. so he called himself yahweh the lord of hosts plural.

the problem was around 900 bc bal came to earth. he took the persona of bal. bal challenged yahweh to a duel. then bal dueld yahweh until bal won by pinning yahweh onto a ring platform. when he used his arm button it activated the rings yahweh head was destroyed leaving a headless host, the host of yahweh. 

bal put the host into a sarcaphigus to regrow the head. he brought back to jerusalem and said "see i have defeated yahweh serve me" as the host of yahweh bowed. some jews worshipped bal but others refused to stop their faith in  yahweh... who they refused to believe was dead.

meanwhile the persona who yahweh had claimed, sent a message that he had not commanded sacrifices. now we know the two sources of messages and what came from yahweh the guld who bal killed.

bal prepared for war to conquer the northern kingdom of jerobam dynasty so they would worship him but got called away to a battle elsewhere in the galaxy. so that was the end of bal's reign and of ra and yahweh reign on earth. only setesh remained on earth stranded with no gate nor ship for ringing as bal had ringed. he found and was satisfied by few followers on earth who were enough for him.

END NOTE: the leader of the council had been ra: "powerful Ra and sadistic Sokar had once ruled over all of them as Supreme System Lord."

sokar ruled part of egypt until ra aided with allies chased sokar away. then ra was prime and sokar ruled elsewhere. later, when sokar was torturing apophis, a messenger warned him that netu would soon explode. apophis escaped but sokar the ex-system lord got killed. "Netu exploded destroying Sokar's ship and killing Sokar."

ra had deposed sokar and ruled egypt until a rebellion succeeded. he fled earth and they buried the gate which got found starting the sg1 missions. another time line is at the end of season 8 when sg1 helped the rebellion that evicted ra from earth around 2995bc.

as above, in the present, ra got killed by sg1. his son heruur inherited his kingdom and became a powerful system lord. Heru'ur was the son of Ra, who sg1 had killed. h' was a System Lord in the high council until apophis destroyed his Ha'tak, killing Heru'ur. apophis took control of h' fleet. he led this huge fleet to attack the tokra. in summary sg1 killed the father ra but apophis killed heruur.

not in time order 2 other system lords got killed: apophis got killed when replicators were destroying his stolen ship. sg1 caused it to crash killing apophis and the replicators.

cronus got killed by the double tealc. each attacked cronus and failed. when cronus was torturing tealc the robot tealc rebooted its computer and killed cronus. sg1 inherited cronus ship until apophis hijacked it. it was the one that replicators attacked and in its crash, apophis died. two system lords down.

this is the story of that hijack: sg1 caused a star to explode destroying apophis fleet but apophis survived until replicators captured apophis ship. then apophis high jacked the ship that sg1 had won by killing cronus. replicators took control of this too and flew to our galaxy as fast as only replicators could. sg1 caused this to crash as they escaped in a transport kal tesh. as above this ended the threat of apopphis and the replicators.

After the deaths of Apophis, Cronus, and Heru'ur, "the remaining seven" System Lords gathered for a summit. by then all the others had been demoted from the high council. sg1 infiltrated the meeting and the rest is history.

summary star gate continuum

a team gathered by the star gate and gated. there they hear a list of crimes done by bal. bal, the captured ex-system lord who had been very powerful, warnd you found all you could trace but not original who can detach the trace. the "last" one is still a threat.

in 1939 bal arrived. his gang killed ship crew. the bomb got activated and bal gated away. a wounded guy tossed bomb out saving the boat. as a result, in the present, vala and others vanished, because the gate had not been delivered so whatever had been accomplished, was not accomplished. jack worried about his people so ran to the clone bal, who stabbed him, JACK DIED. sam, DJ and cam gated to earth. they arrive in a cold room. in 1939? no because gated. they are in the ship containing the 

gate. 

they blast thru the ice and start walking. a team followed the heat of gate activation to save dj life and find the others. sg1 gott questioned and sent home. a year passed... and they get called back due to a threat. many warships surrounded earth. sg1 flew to the gate getting excavated in south but bal destroyed it. the only other gate is in russia. sg1 knows but not hammond until the attack on sgc when hammond said any information tell us. so they told about russian gate. 

sg1 flew to siberia but guld followed but russian jets saved them. they hoped to use zpm but can't so they went to bal base and find the machine. it located solar flares and plans the gate to use subspace near them [oops gates use subspace not space but near]. troops ringed in attacking and the team shot back as sam used the device to find a helpful flare same as bal had. during the dangerous battle DANIEL DIED.

sam activated the gate but GOT KILLED at the console. tealc was FATALLY wounded but as queen approached activated a bomb killing queen who had killed bal after his return from the past which won't be necessary. cam gated near the flare and arrived in the past... so he is present in 1939 as bal gang arrived on ship. he and others shot the gang and the real bal the last system lord as he arrived in the past completing the circle. sgi had killed ra the primary system lord force and now the last one too. 

the bomb was never switched on... preventing any change... so whatever had been accomplished GOT accomplished... so FINALLY in the present they extract the guld snake from clone bal thinking he is the real bal who got killed in 1939. killed the snake and no system lords remain. the bump had been smoothed. sg1 will now face the new threat of strong invaders in season nine.

e19 [v5] DJ touched a tall device, before going thru gate. he found alternate people, and that guld were attacking earth. he realized that he was in a parallel world, so returned home with info' to save his earth from the fate of that defeated earth.

e20, DJ warned but they say he dreamt. at a meeting about ending stargate program, they reviewed some missions. the program got terminated.

e21 sg1 rebeld against orders to end sgc, for trying to stop guld. they gated to the place that dj reported. after unseen they sent back malp, the gate stopped working, Jack got captured so sam saved him. the vehicle flew them near earth for the attack. earth seemd doomed by better tec. t.b.c.

e1, continuing from the warcraft nearing to attack earth, sg1 was in a guld ship by earth. they kill a guld prince but got captured until bratac, a jaffa friend of tealc, freed them. together they sabotage the guld attack. but how will they destroy two powerful ships with super shields?

e2 during a battle, sam got controlled by a guld and so got locked up. meanwhile an assassin was killing people and taking their appearance. he shot sam. how will she heal?

e3 sg1 helpd a guy who was running... from punishment so sg1 got sent to a prison planet. they met a lady who helped them escape but who was she really?

e4, SG1 got trapd in pods. Sam and DJ relived the tragic death of dj's parents. jak n tealc relive a tragic mission. a guy told people they can't leave. = sg1 got tied to devices where jak and dan relive painful memories. they led an escape from the building, where they convince the gardener to free them. he is horrified when people pick the flowers from his garden.

e5 On a planet, DJ stopd a pretty princess from killing herself. he saved her life but sg1 got falsely accused n captured. they workd in a mine n tryd to escape. DJ used the guld device that affected his personality, delaying the freedom. dj swayed the princess to free them. they made a deal to give mining equipment that will end the slave labor, in exchange for the precious mineral. later dj suffered like withdrawal from addiction drugs. how will dj defeat his addiction?

e6, sg1 got a signal n came and found that a Guld was mass murdering people who did not accept the guld as god. this planet was where sg1 freed Teal'c by destroying Thor's device. how will sg1 help the people from many powerful guld?

e7, SG1 came from a dead planet to their base. they *brout an orb that speared Jak. it sent something that infected him n controld the computers. how will they get it to leave?

e8, SG1 came to tealc's planet n freed his son who was brainwashed. in SGC base, ma noticed his lost teeth were replaced, hence saving earth from a super plague. his brainwashing caused him to hit n hate tealc. how will they really free tealc's son?

e9 in D.C. jak & sam were party participants. jak met a news guy who knew about the gate so said, "nobody will *beleiv you". dj came back to his pa-in-law's planet, as planned. dj rejoind his pregnant wife who is in danger due to her child.  guld came for the child, before d's wife could gate out. she started delivering the baby. how will they hide the baby?

sg1 s2 e10

other season:  sg1 infiltrated anubis ship and destroyed its super power source for shield and zap. but they got scattered and doc got captured. anubis flew to doc quin's planet and destroyed and killed so they gave him the power mineral called naquadria. in space, tealc convinced the first prime of yu and bal to join against anubis. meanwhile sam and jack went to help the victims of anubis attack so the scattered sg1 has been brought near doc planet. despite the jaffa compensating, unstable mineral exploded weakening the forcefield of doc prison so he escaped with dj and ringd to the planet... just in time to save sam. sam dj and doc bring the crystal to the base. 

leader betrayed so sg1 got captured again. bal fleet with tealc, shot at anubis flagship, weakened by the naqadria blast. the huge ship starts to break up with many explosions so great they shake the underground base. in the distraction sg1 tried to escape with a major firefight... and despite danger outskilled the jaffa force. sam tackled the jaffa who held the crystal and recovered it. anubis ejected in a capsule and escaped. sg1 got reunited so doc went home. 

summary book hunger games 1-10

book 1----intro: this story described an oppressive government that replaced the u.s. government. this book was very popular. the author could have chosen a major "coal mine" such as china's shaanxi in its central north, but instead chose appalachian mountains for clever marketing, that people enjoy imagining america destroyed, and she was right. this was only ugly and a turn off for me i would never buy that book only write a summary from a summary website. many people enjoy that thought of america destroyed.
about coal, china is LARGEST CONSUMER of coal for power adding much pollution to our air unstopped. as even new york times warned in absurdly gentle words "china burns more coal putting climate goals at risk." but no echoing fuss about that nor china occupying tibet... except by me.
summary C1---- in north america's east part, by appalachian mountains, on "reap" day, Katniss awoke in a room with her ma and younger sister, Prim. Kat hunts food using arrows, in the forest, by crawling under a fence. Her father had taught her these skills before he had died in a mine explosion. now as usual, she joined Gale, her close friend and hunting partner in the woods by district 12. he suggested they live out here, by the food but both are providers for their families.  They gatherd berries and caut fish. 

at black market, they traded for bread and salt. They visited the mayor to sell strawberries. his daughter was dressed fancily, for "reaping" that day. her risk is smaller, than theirs because of the hunger system: all age twelve have one name in the risk raffle. each year they added one more paper with the name. also poor can add an extra paper risk in exchange for food: a year’s supply of grain and oil for one person. Poor people's children add their names many times. [this matches the name hunger games for hungry people can get food if they risk the danger]. 

Kat, age sixteen, will have her name in twenty times because 5 by her age besides 15 added for food. Gale, age 18, will have even more papers with his name so a greater risk than the rich. at home Katniss dressed for the ceremony because the tragic danger is presented as festive. her mother, Prim and her went to the town square, where mayor gave a speech. he told how North America had droughts, storms, "rising seas" [marketing so people will buy her book]. The country of Panem emerged there. it had a Capitol and thirteen districts. 

the districts soon rebelled until The Capitol's troops and bombers won. the thirteenth d. got destroyed. the government punished the districts to remind them of their submission, the Capitol 'reaps' tributes: two teens [a male and female between ages twelve and eighteen] from each district to kill each other in the Hunger "Games." one survivor can win earning extra food. Haymitch was the only one still living from only two winners in that District. he came on stage, visibly very drunk. a lady reached in for a girl's name, kat wished: not me not me... it was not her... the name was her sister.

C2-- Katniss rushed to the stage before Prim and yelled in a panic that she volunteerd, to take her sister's place. Kat hugged Prim. next, the name drawn for the boy tribute was Peeta, who worked at his family bakery where they bake peeta bread. Kat remembered, when her father had died, she had searched for food. Peeta, who knew her, tossed to her, two burned loaves of bread that they can't sell. she had fed her family with his help. she also ate dandelions and hunted wildlife for food. now they would be the team for district twelve.

C3-- Katniss sat in a room. Her mother and sister came to say goodbye love. they got led out. his pa, the baker gave cookies to her, a luxury. Madge gave a pin with a gold bird to her. Gale visited too but gards dragged him away. she went to a train station. she and Peeta entered the fast train toward the Capitol far west in the Rockie mountains. her new pin has the type of bird that was engineered [gene with parrot] and used to spy on rebels. similar to a parrot it repeated entire conversations. the rebels realized so lied by them. The pin is a hint to the rebellion. 

Kat and Peeta watch a recording of the reaping in other districts. they joked about Haymitch’s drunkenness. He came drunk, vomited [tossed his cookies], and fell in it. --C--4 Kat tossed the gift cookies out the train window into dandelions. they reminded her when she and Prim had gathered them. kat had read a book about plants for healing and eating. later she had brought home many roots from plants named katniss. the next morning, she joined Effie, Haymitch & Peeta in the dinner car. 

H' was already "drinking" so Peeta angrily slapd the cup away. H’ punched him and called them fighters. She responded by throwing a knife skillfully into the wall. when their train reached the Capitol, K&P felt amazed at the luxury. people had odd hair styles and painted faces. Peeta waved to them. she realized he needed to kill her. --c5-- Cinna a stylist gave her a costume with a synthetic flame, like the "coal" in her district for flame. she and p' wore matching costumes in the plaza with a huge audience.  other tributes tried to impress the audience.

just before Katniss and Peeta went out, Cinna lit them and suggested, "hold hands." The crowd 

cheered. --C 6-- Kat was in a luxurious room with electric features. at dinner Kat drank wine. Haymitch explained that the servers, had committed a crime. the punishment included brutally cut out their tongue. Later, Kat and Peeta went to the roof, that was surrounded by an electrified field. P&K went to a garden. wind chimes and wind hid their talk. Kat told the story:  when she and Gale were hunting in the woods, they saw a tired and poor pair of kids running. 

A hovercraft captured the girl in a net. it speared the boy. a cable attached lifted his corpse. The memory haunted her. the cold of the mountain forced them back inside. Peeta chatted until said goodnight. Kat gave clothes for the redheaded Avox girl to take to Cinna before sleeping. --C7-- during training, the twenty four teens practiced together. Kat's skill is arrow hunter. Peeta's skill is wrestler. He was also strong. Haymitch advised K&P to hide their skills from the others, who will want to kill this threat first.

on the last afternoon, each will perform skills separately, for the Game managers. also advised that they would always be seen together. At training, Kat learnt that some had trained for years to compete for their district instead of a raffle. The training area had different stations with instructors. the "Career" went to the stations with the weapons. Katniss and Peeta go to a station where they learn various knots. Next they move to the camouflage station, and Peeta used his skills decorating cakes. 

later they visit more stations together. kat noticed Rue, a small young girl watching them train. Kat went to the Gamemakers and took a bow. she needed a few tries to use it accurately, due to different than her pa's bow. She noticed that most of them were focused on a roasted pig on a table. She shot an arrow into the apple in the pig’s mouth. --C 8-- kat feared punishment and also worried not get sponsors who gave items critical for survival in the arena. at dinner Kat told her story. they showed shock at her risk. H' laughed saying they probably liked her temper. 

the performance scores were: Peeta eight but Kat eleven from 12. In the morning, Kat recalled meeting Gale when each was hunting in the woods. Katniss missed him. at breakfast, Haymitch said Peeta will get coached separately, as he asked. --C 9-- Kat wore high heels, and corrected her posture for “presentation.” Haymitch said the impression is important for sponsors he must get her. she ate dinner, away from people, in her room and angrily smashed dishes until she cut hands. 

so the redhead came and wiped the blood. Kat helped her clean her mess. the next day, Kat wore a dress covered in jewels and tried to improve her bad mood. Kat went on the stage. The host interviewed her and she acted charming. Peeta went and exposed: he’s had a crush on a girl a long time who can't get. even if he survives and wins, he can't because this girl is in the game too: katniss.
