story: i discovered that the method i was taught for pronouncing hebrew differed not only from modern hebrew but also from the description preserved in books. there are shapes and sounds but what is the correct correlation?
i could call any shape a kamatz and claim gather lips?
modern hebrew called a shape kamatz which means gather but the sound is not gathered lips.
luckily josephus preserved the NAMES wait... not the greek style names he started in the book "adam enos kenan" later he will specify that was for the greek readers to recognize the name in the greek style.
in the story of "noah" as he is called in english josephus preserved "usually the greek name but WE say his name naw-ay" preserving the way jews pronounced the name with greek letters which we know from encyclopedia collier the vowels sounds and that left side curve ' is h like hydrogen word despite no letter for h had sound not as rabbis lied to me "eve" kuz greek lack letter h... deception despite lack letter had "hydrogen and helium" using the symbol '.

the logic is called a=b if b=c then a=c
we see the letter vav 6 in both groups symbolized b, words with and without v are same word same sound called full or missing with \ . place name yood certainly like sea bee due to yood and match other systems so any one known defined all 3 like letter yood matching forms feminine and command sound in bee sea all systems match.
also for _ :. both same symbol a=b if we know a in josephus a=c then logic b=c
this differed from modern hebrew and also from the way i was taught which is not the ORIGINAL religious pronunciation as preserved.
the symbol _ is truly like the vowel sound "day date weigh say". see pictures.
the symbol _ with a bump on the bottom is preserved in books as "open" mouth like english "pa, father bob dodge" when mouth open. as specified in dictionary introduction by vowel o.
the symbol single dot above is as josephus preserved "saw dog log".
single dot below is not preserved so probably the sound as i was taught "bee, key, seat"
these four sounds preserve all the many shapes used in jewish hebrew bibles and newer bibles with swollen shapes to indicate different sounds for the same shape... despite lacking evidence that ancient jews distinguished so insteadwe can say same shape same sound unless different shape and still even different shapes now were same symbol in the past.
for example now bibles have a symbol three dots in 2rows while ancient texts show those words had the same symbol as words with the symbol line _ so we can see the later altered the sound due to subjective opinion boring repitition which for language is justifiable but not for religious reading which must be as religion original... for example reading the holy book isaiah which jesus mentioned by name... in contrast to book genesis that "jesus never said by name" was his source nor was holy nor even true. in fact when he quoted things that have "source genesis" the words differ from genesis so he was certainly not quoting from the jewish genesis but from some lost book only preserved by the quotes in the new testament but which rabbis replaced.
so we can group: one dot above "dog=saw", one dot below "sea bee" and same sound for other shapes for example the vertical line with a dot and the three dots in three rows \ same sound as preserved in the feminine "he" spelled with the sixth letter and the place name pniel pnuel.
two dots below if vertical : like the hebrew word "in vain" nothing no vowel only letter like the english word english the g is only the letter consonant sound no vowel. despite new books are distinguishing based on "tules" that lack source in mishna and claiming that was the original way is baseless instead the same symbol and the name "nothing" preserved no sound only an interruption to rest between syllables and sounds like the g in the word english and the letter d at the end of "end" no vowel due to end same in middle of word rest as interruption.

three dots as above not original but if two rows then original _ so date and say if three rows same as bee sea. those are the four sounds in the ancient hebrew for religious reading but i warn not to read books that do not match jeremiah who said and new testament quoted by name as a good source, "eat burnt offerings because i did not command offerings" preserving the reason truly not command so the books that can cause error that did command whether book exodys book leviticus book numbers bok deuteronomy each can cause the error that commanded "slaughtering" considered error once we know the truth from jeremia whom god BOTHERED TO SEND to fix the error of those who slaughtered in his name so only read the holy books such as ecclesiastes jeremia or isaiah and only a bitt each day not much unless bored and nothing else to do but avoid the books that can cause errors about slaughtering which are considered error after god sent jeremia to warn he did not command slaughtering so eat the burnt offering that you thought to burn for god.
